Yet a third type like to visit places of culture and see the places where ancient civilizations lived.
3. Why are you going on the cruise? If you are going on a family holiday you will need to look at ships that have entertainment for the children. Maybe something like a Disney cruise vacation.
If you just want a romantic time away from the family there is a selection of cruises which do not allow any kids at all. Some people dream of an exotic cruise and use it as a retirement present for themselves. They want five star attention and facilities at all times.
4. Who do you want to cruise with. This can help you from two different aspects. The first one, which has probably already been answered, is whether you are going on your own or with other people.
The second way that this can help is which cruise line do you want to travel with. It will depend on the other questions. Do a little internet research and find the cruise company that offers the facilities that you want.
5. When are you planning on taking the cruise vacation? If it is a family holiday you may have no option but to travel during the school holidays. If you can be more flexible though you will get some fantastic cruise deals in the off peak seasons.
